2014 is moving along at a steady pace.
I have two books "in the works" and am also writing a private Memoir for a client, so life continues to be busy. In between times and whenever I have a spare moment (!) I've also been writing my own life story and this process has brought back countless memories of my own childhood and teen years, plus the adventure of moving to Canada to a completely different life as I married and raised my family here. This entire project has brought to mind many quotes - and those who know me well know how much I LOVE quotes. "Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood," said Marie Curie. "Life is merely froth and bubble, Two things only stand like stone. Kindness in another's trouble, Courage in your own." This was said by Adam Lindsay Gordon. And Pablo Picasso once said: "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away." These are all wise words to live by.
Now that I am in my so-called Golden Years and am supposed to be retired, I am busier than ever and I love it. I continue to learn something new every day and when our grandchild arrives (any day now) I am sure I will be learning a whole lot more. Happy Spring, everyone!
