Lots happening in the coming weeks and months to report on as the year draws to a close. First of all, and most importantly, my husband continues to do well after having two major surgeries this past year. We were SO lucky. After some delays, I am able to concentrate again on writing projects and suddenly have become very busy. My novel is still in "publisher-land" hoping for decisions in 2016 and "Conversations From The Past" is also awaiting movement! Meanwhile, I continue to write for Seaside Magazine every month and I have just completed an interview with CBC Radio for a documentary being made on the Michael Dunahee case in which my book Vanished will be featured. Watch for dates on this under NEWS. The year 2016 marks the 25th anniversary of Michael's disappearance so there will be other events to report on during 2016.
On December 1st, 2015, the Saanich Municipal Hall will celebrate its 50th anniversary. There will be a celebration, presentation and unveiling of a plaque at the Hall at 7 p.m. that night. The next morning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, I will be giving a short presentation in Council chambers on some of Saanich's Mayors since 1906. There will also be tours through the Hall. Hope to see you there.
Our little grandson, Finlay, continues to thrive and will be two in February. How quickly the time flies.!
I will be blogging again soon with more news but meanwhile hope you all have a very happy Christmas and all good things in 2016.
