Welcome to the website of Author Valerie Green
Valerie is a Canadian Author living in Victoria, British Columbia.
Born and educated in England with a background in journalism, history and English literature, Valerie moved to Canada in 1968, married and raised a family while continuing an active career as a published author of over 15 books, seven of which have been local historical non-fiction, two mystery/crime books, one audio fiction (mystery-suspense) and one ghost-written book. In addition, Valerie freelances for numerous magazines and newspapers.
Valerie is a member of the Professional Writers of Canada (PWAC), the Federation of BC Writers, the Writers' Union of Canada, and the Hallmark Society of Victoria. She also remains active on various volunteer Boards and Committees including the Saanich Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee, as well as volunteering with the Luther Court Society. She and her husband live in Saanich, a suburb of Victoria, with their dog Rupert.
